FIFA 23 FUT Heroes – All Base and World Cup ratings, new cards & more

FUT Hero cards were a great addition to Ultimate Team in FIFA 22, and their numbers are growing in FIFA 23!

Find out all you need to know about FUT Heroes in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team below.

What are FUT Heroes?

FUT Hero cards were new items in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team that introduced some retired fan favourite players to the game.

Initially, these were viewed by the FIFA community as one level below an Icon, however, with upgrades given throughout the season, some of the FUT Heroes become better than many Icons.

MASSIVE GAINS – The FUT Hero roster has expanded massively in FIFA 23

There were 19 FUT Hero cards released in FUT 22, with 21 new FUT Heroes coming in FUT 23, so there are now 40 on the roster.

All the FUT Heroes have a Base version, with upgraded FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes coming during the World Cup campaign in FUT 23, with more boosted versions likely to come in further promos.

Chemistry Change

With the chemistry re-work introduced in FUT 23, FUT Heroes now work in a slightly different way.

If they are played in the correct position they will always have full chemistry themselves.

Then, they will provide two chemistry points to any player that shares the same league as them.

FUT Hero Card Types

There are two confirmed card types for FUT Heroes, a Base version and a World Cup version.

The Base version is available from launch, with the World Cup cards coming to the game on Friday, 11 November, when the World Cup promo begins in FUT.

We would expect to see more types coming in other promos, with upgraded versions coming in the FUT Captains and Shapeshifters campaigns in FUT 22.
